
How to make Steamed Prawns with Garlic and Lime.
Ingredients: Serves 2-4
- 500 g prawns
- 4 tbsp chopped garlic
- 4 tbsp chopped red chillies
- 1 tsp grated lime rind
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- a few drops of sesame oil
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- salt
- pepper
- chopped spring onion
Method:
- Cut at the back of each prawn, open and knock lightly with the back of the knife.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine the 4 tbsp chopped garlic, 4 tbsp chopped red chillies, 1 tsp grated lime rind, 2 tbsp fish sauce, a few drops of sesame oil, 3 tbsp lime juice and mix well.
- Pour over the prepared prawns and steam over high heat for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the chopped spring onion over and serve immediately.
