Spanish Garlic Potatoes

How to make Spanish Garlic Potatoes.

Ingredients: Serves 4

  • 1kg of potatoes
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp of oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1/2 glass of vinegar
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt


  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes with a thickness of half a centimeter.
  2. Put them in a pan with hot oil.
  3. Lower the heat so that they fry slowly, this way they are done inside without browning.
  4. Peel and slice the garlic and put it in a mortar to crush it.
  5. Add the cumin, oregano, salt and paprika and mash it all together.
  6. Add the vinegar, the white wine and stir well.
  7. Once the mash is mixed, add it to the potatoes.
  8. Pour the water into the mortar and stir it well.
  9. Pour it into the pan.
  10. Mix everything together and cook over medium heat until the sauce is blended.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
