Spaghetti With Minced Beef is a simple and quick to make pasta recipe for when you don´t have too much time on your hands to cook. This dish takes approximately 40 minutes to make from start to finish. Great to be enjoyed with a side salad. Also excellent sprinkled with coarse black pepper and grated cheese.

INGREDIENTS: (for 2 people)

250g Fresh minced beef

300g Pasta of your choice

400g Tin of chopped tomatoes

1 Green pepper

1 Onion

3 Garlic cloves

Olive oil

Sweet paprika

1 Meat flavoured stock cube

Dried parsley

Salt

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Finely chop the green pepper, onion and garlic.

2: Place a large frying pan on the heat and cover the base with olive oil. Heat up and add the above chopped vegetables. Gently fry on medium to high heat for 5 minutes then add the minced beef and continue to fry until it is a golden brown colour.

3: Crumble up the stock cube and add it, also sprinkle some sweet paprika, salt to your own liking and parsley. Add the tinned tomatoes, stir well and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.

4: Boil the spaghetti to your own liking, drain and serve. Add the sauce over the spaghetti or you can add the sauce to the pot of pasta, mixing it well and then serve.

5: Enjoy… With a side salad and/or fresh rustic bread!
