Som Tam Salad

How to make a Som Tam Salad.

Ingredients: Serves 2-4

  • 2 cups Green papaya, shredded
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 6 Green beans, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Dried shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 2 Red Chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 medium Lime
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted peanuts, coarsely ground

Instructions:

  1. Squeeze the juice from the lime into a glass jug.
  2. Add the garlic, chillies, sugar, soy and fish sauces.
  3. Stir well.
  4. In a salad serving bowl, add the papaya, tomatoes, green beans and dried shrimp.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour the lime juice dressing previously prepared over the salad ingredients.
  7. Sprinkle peanuts over the top.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
