Sausages In Apple & Onion Sauce Recipe. A quick and simple dish to prepare, using a few easy to find ingredients and which makes an ideal lunch.
INGREDIENTS: (for 2 people)
8 Thin sausages
1 Apple (finely sliced)
1 Onion (finely sliced)
10cl White wine
½ Tsp Sweet paprika
Salt (to your own liking)
1: Grab a large frying pan and cover the base with olive oil.
2: Add the sliced onion and apple. Gently fry until they are caramelized.
3: Add the sausages and continue to fry for a further 5 minutes.
4: Add the salt, paprika and wine. Mix well and leave to boil until the wine has evaporated and you are left with a thickish sauce.
5: Enjoy… Served over boiled potatoes or rice!
