Roast Chicken with Soy Sauce

How to make Roast Chicken with Soy Sauce.

Ingredients: Serves 4-6

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced or grated
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • ½ cup Kikkoman soy sauce
  • ½ cup honey

Method:

  1. Place the chicken in an oven-proof dish.
  2. Season with garlic, lime zest, lime juice and ginger.
  3. In a small bowl combine the Kikkoman soy sauce and honey, and season the chicken with this mixture.
  4. Cover and marinate overnight or at least for one hour.
  5. Pre-heat the oven to 375F.
  6. Uncover the chicken, add water and bake for one hour, basting every 20 minutes with the juices.
  7. The chicken should have a beautiful brown colour when done.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
