How to make Pears in Wine.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
4 seasonal pears
1 bottle of Tempranillo Red wine
2 white sugar tablespoons
2 cinnamon sticks
6 spice cloves
3 black pepper tiny balls
You can optionally sprinkle with some crunched pistachios or walnuts when the dish is finished and served.
Peel the pears and place inside a deep pot with the rest of ingredients.
Cook at medium/low heat for 20 to 30 minutes or until you feel the pears are fully cooked.
While cooking, keep on turning the pears so that they get fully cooked.
Serve and eat either warm or cold.
