
How to make Loaded Chilli Fries.
INGREDIENTS: Serves 4
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ small onion, minced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Water, as needed
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne
METHOD:
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, and fry until translucent, for about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and using a whisk, break it up and cook until browned.
- Add the spices, tomato paste and fry until fragrant.
- Add a small amount of water, turn heat to low and simmer until ready to serve.
- Add water as needed, while simmering, if the beef is looking a bit dry.
- Serve over french fries and enjoy!
