Loaded Chilli Fries

How to make Loaded Chilli Fries.

INGREDIENTS: Serves 4

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ small onion, minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Water, as needed
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne

METHOD:

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and fry until translucent, for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and using a whisk, break it up and cook until browned.
  4. Add the spices, tomato paste and fry until fragrant.
  5. Add a small amount of water, turn heat to low and simmer until ready to serve.
  6. Add water as needed, while simmering, if the beef is looking a bit dry.
  7. Serve over french fries and enjoy!
