How to make a Key Lime Pie Smoothie.
This Key Lime Pie Smoothie is healthy, creamy and a delicious way to start your day!
Ingredients: Serves 1
- 1 banana sliced and frozen
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt 130 g
- ¼ cup key or regular lime juice 60 ml
- 1 tbsp honey 15 ml
- ½ tsp finely grated lime zest
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract 1.2 ml
- cracker crumbs, lime wedge
- Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding ice as needed to reach a consistency to your liking.
- If you want a slightly green smoothie, add a few leaves of fresh spinach.
- To garnish, rub lime juice around the rim of the glass, then roll it in crushed graham cracker crumbs.
- Pour in smoothie and serve immediately.
