INGREDIENTS: (for 4 people)
500g Minced beef
3 Garlic cloves
1 Green pepper
100g Baby carrots (fresh, frozen or tinned)
20cl White wine
1: Grab a bowl and add the mince meat, the egg, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of parsley and the breadcrumbs.
2: Mix all well together and form the meatballs then leave to one side.
3: Finely chop the garlic, onion and green pepper. Grate the tomato.
4: Cover the base of a frying pan with olive oil and heat up. Add the meatballs and gently fry them until they are golden brown all over. Halfway through also add the chopped up pepper, onion, garlic and the grated tomato. Drain off any excess oil.
5: Add the carrots, white wine, water, 1 teaspoon of sugar and sweet paprika and gently cook on medium heat until the juice starts to thicken up, making sure that it doesn´t all evaporate.
6: Enjoy… Served with potatoes, rice or pasta!
