Greek Meatballs With Tzatziki Sauce

How to make Greek Meatballs With Tzatziki Sauce.

INGREDIENTS: Serves 4

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground beef, lamb or bison
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley
  • 1–2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup greek full-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped seedless cucumbers
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped dill
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Optional Extras:

  • Quinoa or rice
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Olives
  • Hummus

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 425F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease well.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs until fully combined.
  3. Form into mini meatballs and add to the baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until fully cooked (flipping halfway through).
  5. While the meatballs bake, mix together tzatziki sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
  6. Serve meatballs with desired extras and tzatziki sauce and enjoy!
