Greek Horiatiki Salad

How to make a Greek Horiatiki Salad.

Ingredients: Serves 2-4

  • 350 g of cherry tomatoes
  • 150 g of feta cheese
  • 15 olives
  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • ½ onion
  • 1 tbsp of white wine
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 250 ml of water
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • Olive oil
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Peel the onion and cut it into julienne strips.
  2. Place it in a bowl, add the water and the white wine vinegar.
  3. Wash and peel the cucumber (leave a little skin) and cut it into thin slices diagonally.
  4. Wash the cherry tomatoes, remove the stem and cut them in half.
  5. Combine the cucumber and cherry tomatoes in a bowl .
  6. Add the bell pepper cut into thin strips and the rinsed and drained onion.
  7. Add the white wine, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  8. Mix well with a spoon.
  9. Serve in a salad bowl, cover with the pitted olives, the feta cheese and the capers.
  10. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and oregano.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
