
How to make a Dry Shrimp Broth.
Ingredients: Serves 4
- 100 g of small dried and headless shrimp
- 1 1/2 cups carrot, chopped into small cubes
- 1 1/2 cups of potatoes, cut into small cubes
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- A few sprigs of fresh epazote
- 50 g of chipotle dried chilli
- 1 cube of shrimp broth concentrate
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Salt, to taste
- 1 1/2 liters of water
Method:
- Place a pot on the stove, pour in the water and add the onion, garlic. potato, carrot, shrimp and let it boil for 30 minutes.
- Place a little water from the broth that we have in a blender, add the tomatoes, the chipotle chilli, a clove of garlic and blend.
- Add the liquefied mixture to the broth along with the cube of shrimp concentrate, the epazote and let it boil.
- Lower the flame and let it cook for 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
