Creamy Garlic Butter Mushrooms

How to make Creamy Garlic Butter Mushrooms.


  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 26 oz small mushrooms, washed and dried
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, to garnish
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the mushrooms, drizzle with olive oil and cook until mushrooms are lightly browned, for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in wine and let reduce for 2 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, for about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in cream, onion powder, and thyme.
  6. Let it simmer until sauce has thickened, for about 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in the parmesan cheese until it has melted and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
  9. Enjoy!
