Chicken Breasts In Tomato

This is a very simple way to cook some chicken breasts in tomato sauce which turns out to be a delicious meal. Can be served with chips, boiled potatoes, rice or pasta, the choice is yours!

INGREDIENTS: (for 2 people)

2 Chicken breasts (skinned)

440g Jar of fried tomato sauce

1 Large onion

3 Garlic cloves

Dried parsley

Chicken seasoning powder

Olive oil

5 cl White wine

Salt

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Grab a frying pan, cover the base with olive oil and heat up on medium to high heat.

2: Now add the chicken breasts. Add salt to your own liking, sprinkle some parsley and chicken seasoning powder and fry until they are golden brown all over.

3: Slice the onion and the garlic in large rings.

4: Place a deep cooking pot on medium heat. Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the onion and garlic. Gently fry for 5 minutes.

5: Take the chicken breasts from the frying pan and place them in the cooking pot with the onion and garlic. Add the wine and the tomato sauce.

6: Cover the pot with it´s lid and leave to gently cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring it ocassionally. When ready, serve with either chips, boiled potatoes, pasta or rice.
