Sometimes when you are in a hurry it´s difficult to decide on what to eat. Here is a delicious pasta dish which takes no more than 40 minutes to make and will leave you satisfied. If you don´t have any chorizo on hand you can always add normal sausages instead and if you don´t happen to have any bacon in the fridge you can always use ham or pork slices.

INGREDIENTS: (for 2 people)

400g Bacon cut in cubes or thick slices

1 Chorizo cut in slices

440g Jar of fried tomato sauce

300g Pasta of your choice

1 Small onion

3 Garlic cloves

Sweet paprika

Olive oil

1 Glass of white wine

Salt

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Finely chop up the garlic and onion.

2: Grab a large frying pan and add 3 tbsp of olive oil and heat up on high.

3: Add the bacon, chorizo, garlic and onion. Fry for 5 minutes, then turn the heat to low – medium.

4: Add salt to your own liking, add 1 tsp of sweet paprika, the jar of fried tomato sauce and the glass of white wine.

5: Gently cook for 15 minutes then turn the heat off.

6: Boil the pasta to your own liking, drain and serve. Add the sauce over the pasta or you can add the sauce to the pot of pasta, mixing it well and then serve.

7: Enjoy… With a side salad and/or fresh rustic bread!
