Asparagus Wrapped In Bacon makes an ideal starter or side dish to accompany your main course dinner. If you don´t want to use the oven, this dish can also be cooked in a frying pan covered generously with olive oil. It is a very simple to make recipe using only 4 ingredients and should take no more than 20 minutes cooking time to accomplish this delicious dish. TIP: The thinner that the bacon rashers are, the easier they are to wrap around the asparagus!
INGREDIENTS: (for 4 people)
16 Fresh asparagus
16 Thin slices of bacon
1: Wrap each piece of bacon around each asparagus.
2: Place them in an oven proof baking dish and sprinkle some salt and olive oil over each piece.
3: Place in a preheated oven at 220c for 15 – 20 minutes or until the bacon is of a crispy looking colour. Then take out and serve.
